Founded by a Somerset family of wool merchants, the Price Brothers and Co. business developed 100% wool mattresses. They were of such high quality, they became known as mattresses that you could truly ‘rely-on’ for a good night’s sleep. Relyon were the first company to develop recyclable mattresses.
Quality without compromise is at the heart of everything Relyon do. That is why they were the first bed manufacturing company to be awarded a highly prestigious Manufacturing Guild Mark by the Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers.
Relyon has its own spring manufacturing on site, as well as its own wood mill. In addition to these Relyon is one amongst a few bed manufacturers to have its own inhouse laboratory. They systematically test all raw materials to ensure that these are in accordance with product specifications.
