By investing in waste management infrastructure, we can reduce waste and maximise recycling. The recycling of furniture prevents items from going to landfills, where they can take many years to decompose. It is also important to design packaging so that it can be reused or recycled and not thrown away.
Recycling Furniture
As a responsible furniture supplier, we believe that recycling old furniture is an important process. We understand that furniture can be difficult to dispose of, especially finding an appropriate way to recycle it. That’s why we’re proud to be able to offer a recycling solution.
When you purchase furniture from us and need your old furniture removed, we can offer to recycle it for a small cost*. We’ll try to recycle as many pieces of the furniture piece as we can. Contact us today to pre-arrange this service and for any questions you may have on our recycling service.
With our service, the old furniture is removed from the space and the new is set exactly where you want it. Additionally, all packaging is removed without charge and taken away for disposal while we recycle as much as we can.
We have partnered with SUEZ in order to ensure that no packaging goes to landfill.

Showroom Energy
Our showrooms all have solar panels installed as an alternative source of electricity. We chose Naked Solar Ltd to supply them. Providing power to our showrooms using this method of generation saves fossil fuels and nuclear power.
Showroom Lighting
All of the lights in our showrooms are LEDs because of their longer lifespan, which results in less waste and carbon emissions. LED lights are more energy efficient than regular light bulbs since they utilise significantly less electricity. They provide light quality that is on par with or better than other types of lighting. LED lights also produce almost no UV emissions.
Our Suppliers
Products should be made with a long-term, sustainable use in mind. This can be accomplished by using strong, durable materials.
In an effort to lessen our carbon impact, we source as many of the high-quality British products as we can locally, e.g. Vispring in Plymouth. Additionally, we work alongside European businesses that share our beliefs about protecting the environment and minimising our environmental footprint.
Many of our brands strive to use high-quality and environmentally friendly materials. Many of these products bear quality assurance labels, e.g. Red Tractor for certified wool from Hypnos Beds.
