Generous fillings of hand-teased Devonshire fleece wool, laid over thousands of honeycomb nested calico-pocketed Vanadium steel six core springs, ensures a uniquely comfortable and luxurious sleeping experience.
Devonshire mattress
1.42mm wire springs, 54mm in diameter, sewn in individual calico pockets and hand-formed into a honeycomb-nested unit.
21cm deep with two rows of genuine hand-side-stitching. Eight horizontal handles on King Size and above. Air vents on all sides. Borders upholstered in protective wool, finished with piped ticking.
Mattress upholstery
Upholstered with a 300gsm British fleece wool pad, then 2000gsm hand teased real Devonshire fleece wool, overlaid with a 300gsm British fleece wool pad. Covered with your choice of fine worsted wool upholstery fabric from the Vi‑Spring collection. Hand tufted with hand-tied cotton tufts and twine.
Original divan construction
720* hand nested pocketed springs on solid timber frame. The divan frame is covered with insulating wadding of coir, blended British wool and cotton.
